Political cleavages in China
China is a big country. Protests by farmers, middle class city folk, Tibetians, and Uighurs demonstrate that important cleavages in civil society exist. We shouldn't need to be reminded.During Crackdown in Tibet, Uighurs Pursued Own Protest

China Confirms Protests by Uighur Muslims
